LoudPen is Founder and CEO of ISLP AGENCY. As a third generation Black American entrepreneur, LoudPen aka Penny Newberry is inspired by her grandfather, parents, and Aunts. Their business acumen, creativity, family values and love of God are the reason she started a business.
Over the years, Penny has learned that having a successful business is more than just making money. It’s about actually helping people and standing up for what is right. And in the modern music industry, it seems that the amount of Instagram followers an artist has is more important than what their music sounds like.
In essence, LoudPen is seeking to change this by creating an agency that develops talented artists regardless of their follower count. We’re committed to working with accomplished artists to assist them in connecting with their fans on a deeper level.
As far as who LoudPen is, she’s a woman originally from the suburbs of Cincinnati. After graduating from high school, Penny attended Hampton University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. Upon graduation, Penny moved to NYC where she covered New York Fashion Week as a Fashion Blogger while working various different jobs that look good on a resume.
In 2013, LoudPen relocated to Houston, Texas but quickly discovered that she liked Dallas better. And so in 2015, LoudPen moved to Dallas and has been here ever since. 2015 was a big year for Penny as she published her first book, #MakeUrPenLoud: How To Be A Lifestyle Blogger. In 2019, LoudPen published her second book, The Loudest Pen Ever. And in 2021, Penny published her third book, The Pen Planner.
If all that was not enough, LoudPen created Pennies & Pens, a vegan fashion line in 2020. Pennies & Pens currently includes a collection of organic cotton T-Shirts. With Pennies & Pens, LoudPen draws inspiration from her grandmothers, mother, and aunts who are Black women with impeccable style.
With the relaunch of ISLP AGENCY, LoudPen is managing ISLP, THE INKSPOT, LLC, a multifaceted business. ISLP, THE INKSPOT, LLC is a creative production company and multicultural creative agency.
